The entire project including the specification and design phase took three months. "I was surprised at how smoothly it went," said Lehan, acknowledging he and his team could have done it themselves in the same amount of time, but quickly adding, "we would have had to dedicate a great deal of ourselves to the project." 

"Considering infrastructure is a small part of our overall responsibilities, it would not have been good use of time." Lehan summarized his experience with J2K on this project by saying "The upgrade was on time, on budget, and all my deliverables were met. All along, I felt they understood what we were trying to accomplish. I wouldn't change a thing".
